Overall everywhere in the world Casino industry is witnessing a great response and the market is expanding for it globally. Whether we talk about casino market in US, Europe or for that matter Asia it is experiencing growth and new and big players are eying on these markets for their entry as well as expansion. With each big player looking for a right move to invest in this industry the competition is really high. In a recent move Austrian gaming giant Novomatic announced that its new Casino Admiral San Roque in southern Spain could open by the end of July. This new casino property will offer a selection of 100 slots alongside eight gaming tables.
This property is located in the town of San Roque some seven miles north of Gibraltar and this Andalucian venue was closed by the previous operator Groupe Partouche in 2010 with the loss of 40 jobs before being purchased by casino operator Admiral which is a subsidiary of Gumpoldskirchen based Novomatic in 2014. After the purchase the group has done serious thinking on this site and revealed that they are spending more than $5million on the first phase of its three step renovation and overall $22 million for the development of this 42,000 sq ft property. This will also offer a 500 seat bingo hall very soon to its customers.
Casino Admiral San Roque will additionally feature a multipurpose function room with an international buffet and a trio of bars with one serving traditional Andalucian tapas dishes to its customers.
Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, mayor for San Roque, shared with Spanish language news site EuropaSur.es. That “Work on the first phase of development is scheduled to end in June and then the machinery, furniture and other equipment will be fitted,” “The casino is scheduled to open in the last week of July.”
Ruiz Boix further added – “I hope we have more luck than in the past and that this casino stays running for a long time,”
“As it stands, Novomatic is the fourth largest gaming operator in the world and is making remarkable improvements while adding new activities such as bingo. Our hope is that the second phase of construction will attract still more visitors and that several generations will use these facilities for leisure, which will provide employment for several generations of people in the municipality.”
