Ex Manchester United player, Paul Parker does not fancy the idea of making Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to become Manchester United permanent manager. Parker said the 45 years old interim coach will not have a prospect to attract world’s top players.
It has been total of 3 weeks when Solskjaer was appointed as Manchester United interim manager to replace Jose Mourinho who had been fired as the Red Devils coach.
And Solskjaer has so far enjoying his coaching career in the Manchester, He had collected total of 12 points from 4 matches and his side is playing a wonderful football as well. Therefore, there is an opinion that mention perhaps the Molde coach is the perfect solution for United in permanent.
But ex United player, Parker has a different opinion regarding this. “Ole is a lovely person, everyone loves him,” Parker started to talk with Talk Sport.
Parker admitted that Solskjaer has out-perform the expectation that put on him. He said the the interim manager of Manchester United had make the differences in the Manchester United first eleven at this moment.
“He came and brought a lot of joys to the team, everybody was happy and smiling when they see him, everybody was happy because of him.”
“He could bring out the best of each and every players as to make sure that they are all happy, when players are happy, they gave the best of them-self and they perform very well in the pitch as well.”
After the appraisal that Parker gave to OGS, he then continued to express his opinion about not appointed OGS as the permanent coach for Manchester United, because he thinks OGS will have a difficult time to rebuild United with a better quality football players.
“I think he is not the suitable guy for long term. As good as they can play football now and display a wonderful result in this season, they have to think about the future as well.”
“Manchester United needs a manager who can bring in the right player for the team. Can OGS bring in that kind of Top players into the United? I think it will be difficult for OGS because he does not have enough experiences yet and top players will not come.”
“Agents will not come to visit the club and offer their best players. In one side, he will get those that really want and will die to play for United but on the other side, those that really the right players for United will not come because they might think that OGS is the a caliber that is suitable to coach them.” Parker added.
Solskjaer will have to lead the squad to face Reading in the 3rd round of FA Cup tomorrow.
