Juventus star Paulo Dybala is reportedly refusing to become his club as a medium of exchange to get the Inter Milan bomber Mauro Icardi in the summer transfer window.
Previously, Juventus and Inter were reportedly holding talks for possible player exchanges involving Dybala and Icardi.
Juventus are claimed to want to release Dybala, whose season has been declining. On the other hand, Icardi is a pretty good option for the Bianconeri front line next season.
But as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, this plan to exchange players could be a mess because Dybala so far still has no desire to leave Turin.
Juventus’ failure in the Champions League this season did not make Dybala think about leaving. The Argentine bomber is still quite at home at the Allianz Arena.
However, Dybala’s establishment could be changed after a meeting between Dybala’s representatives and two Juve officials, Pavel Nedved and Fabio Paratici in the next few days.
Dybala was drawn by Juventus from Palermo in the summer of 2015 with a transfer fee of 32 million euros plus a bonus of 8 million euros. Since then the Argentine international has immediately become a mainstay on the Old Lady’s front line.
But Dybala’s fortune changed this season. The player who graduated from the Instituto Cordoba academy has only scored 10 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions this season.
Even though in the previous three seasons, Dybala was at least able to score goals for Juventus. In total, Dybala has scored 77 goals in 175 appearances in Juventus uniforms.
