Manchester United won a dramatic 3-2 win over Southampton in Week 10 of the Premier League at St’s Stadium. Mary’s, Sunday (29/11).

Manchester United has a neat chance at the beginning of the match through Mason Greenwood. But Greenwood’s left footed shot in the seventh minute was still sideways on the right side of the Southampton goal.

The visitors conceded in the 23rd minute by Jan Bednarek who took advantage of a James Ward-Prowse pass. Ward-Prowse’s corner was headed nicely by Bednarek that David de Gea couldn’t anticipate.

In the 33rd minute Ward-Prowse’s free kick breaks into De Gea’s goal. The kick from the left is aimed at the near post or the right post.

Manchester United continues to be pressed by Southampton, Moussa Djenepo’s shot in the 35th minute from outside the penalty box can be pushed over by De Gea. Manchester United trailed 0-2 in the first half.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team tried to get up in the second half. Edinson Cavani’s shot in front of Southampton’s goal in the 56th minute Van de Beek’s pass hit the opposing player and only resulted in a corner.

Man United could only score a goal in the 60th minute through Bruno Fernandes’ strike, who took advantage of Edinson Cavani’s assist.

The goal stems from Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s pass to Cavani. The Uruguayan striker then released a horizontal pass to Fernandes who was already in front of the Southampton goal.

Without difficulty, Fernandes shot straight into the bottom right corner which goalkeeper Alex McCarthy couldn’t anticipate.

Cavani’s header in the 69th minute, which took advantage of Wan-Bissaka’s cross, also still did not produce a goal after only narrowing the right side of the goal.

Cavani’s attempt to find the Southampton goal paid off in the 74th minute. Cavani’s header shot past McCarthy after taking advantage of Fernandes’ shot which hit the defender first.

Cavani not only saved United from defeat, but also became the determinant of the Red Devils victory through his second goal in the 90 + 3 minute. Cavani’s header took advantage of Marcus Rashford’s cross into the Southampton goal. Manchester United won 3-2 over Southampton.
