Real Madrid target Neymar Jr will not be sold in this summer, according to Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes this summer. However, Al-Khelaifi has insisted former Barcelona superstar is not available for transfer.
“Neither Real Madrid, nor any other club in the world, needs to call us about Neymar or any other player.” Al-Khelaifi said.
“Real Madrid know perfectly well that Neymar is not for sale and that the player won’t leave PSG this summer. We have a fantastic relationship with Neymar and his father and it is built to last a long time.” Al-Khelaifi added.
PSG signed Neymar for a world record fee of 222m euro from Barcelona. The deal for the 27-year-old smashes previous record set when Paul Pogba returned to Manchester United from Juventus for 89m pounds in August 2016.
Neymar has become PSG’s key player during his time at the club, along with Kylian Mbappe, who has also been linked with a move away.
“No, it’s not 100%, but 2000%. They are going to stay in Paris. Many media, especially in France, claim that we would need to sell Neymar or Kylian. I want to confirm that Kylian and Neymar will stay here. Of course, we want to buy, staying within the framework of FFP. We are confident. We have the means to recruit.” Al-Khelaifi said.

Neymar has been out of squad since January with a foot injury and could be missing for at least another month.
“He’s an extraordinary player and person. He shows a great ability to sacrifice and great character to overcome this new injury.” Al-Khelaifi said.
“He has been recovering in Paris, also in Barcelona and now in Brazil. It’s what was expected since the start by the club’s doctors.” he added.
Neymar has been in sensational form since his arrival, scoring a total of 48 goals in 53 games in all competitions for PSG. He is set to miss both legs of the last 16 fixture.
