Rafael Nadal against Novak Djokovic at the French Open was one of the most interesting matches in the 2021 season that will be remembered for the next few seasons.
The match ended with a 3-6, 6-3, 7-6, 6-2 advantage over the Serbian tennis player, Djokovic.
However, after the match, the Spaniard realized that he was tired and felt an injury to his leg. He is a 35-year-old tennis player who has faced a series of injuries throughout his career.

Even so, players who have bagged 20 Grand Slam titles always find a way to bounce back and return to winning ways. But now everything is different because he is no longer young.
The former world number 1’s body became weak and currently, his mind was still active, but his physique couldn’t keep up with the speed of his mind.
Talking about his loss to Djokovic at the French Open, Rafael Nadal revealed, “In mid-June, when I lost to Novak in the French Open semifinals, I realized that I was exhausted. I decided to take a short break to recuperate. I am no longer 20 years old. It’s important not to push yourself to the limit to prevent injury.”
A very rare sight when watching a Spaniard lose at the French Open. Djokovic has done it once, but the Serbian has failed to go further. But this season, he managed to bring the Grand Slam title.
When the two tennis stars entered the court, it was confirmed that the match would be fierce and history only confirms that fact.
Since being eliminated from the French Open, Nadal has not played many matches. He participated in Washington ahead of a series of tournaments leading up to the US Open, but failed to impress after losing to South African Lloyd Harris.
After that, Nadal decided to return home to recover from his leg injury. But after undergoing a series of recovery processes, he chose to end the 2021 season early. Fans are certainly hoping to see the Spaniard fully recover to compete in the 2022 season.
