Spanish professional tennis player Rafel Nadal confirmed that he is ready to play the Masters 1000 Paris-Bercy tournament alongside world number 2 Roger Federer on October 30 to November 5.
Nadal, who missed the Basel tournament this week to recover his right knee, confirmed his appearance by posting a picture of him practing on his social media account.
Nadal has been played 75 games in 2017, it’s including 10 between Beijing and Shanghai tournament in this October.
The 31-year-old tennis player’s chances to end the year as Wolrd Nimber 1 if he goes far in Paris-Bercy tournament where he reached his best game in 2007 reaching the final where he defeat to the Argentine retired David Nalbandian.
Speaking to media, tournament director Guy Forget after the draw told he was glad the tournament will be attended by the top tennis players name.
“I don’t hide that we are always a little worried about who will participate. This year, with prospect of finishing the year at the No.1 palce in the world, Rafael Nadal will do everything to try win this title which he has never won.” Forget said to local media.
Roger Federer on the other hand, he could hand his closest rival Nadal advantage in World No. 1 fighting. The Swiss tennis player is in a race with Nadal for the year-end World No.1 ranking and can turn down the point’s lack to the top-ranked of Nadal from 1960 to 1460 points with a win in Basel.
“I hope to play there, but there is a good chance I will do it. That will deter my feelings. Health is always more important at this point in my career.” Federer said last weekend.

The 36-year-old tennis player had already said that his priorities were to win the Swiss tournament and the London Masters, which will be held on November 12 to 19, before he entered the court.
Federer had withdrawn the day before the start of the Paris tournament following his defeat in the final of the Basel event against the Argentine Juan Martin Del Potro.
According to report on Friday, if Federer made the trip to Paris, he may not face the Spaniard in the final. Nadal was placed in the same half of the table as German’s Alexander Zverev and Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov.
Fedrer could face Austria’s Dominic Thiem in the quarterfinals and Croatia’s Marin Cilic or even French’s Jo-Wilfred Tsonga in the semifinals.
