Rashford was originally listed as being sick when he was left out of the team on Sunday. Earlier in the week, the England striker was snapped leaving the house in Belfast.
But in a statement released on Monday, United added, “Marcus has accepted charge of his conduct. The internal disciplinary matter about this has been resolved and closed.” On Thursday night, when United travels to Molineux to play Wolves, Rashford will be available for selection.
Ten Hag said that upon his arrival at United in 2022, there was “no positive culture” and that he had experienced disciplinary problems during his time at Old Trafford. After a breakdown with the Dutchman earlier this month, Jadon Sancho went back on loan to Borussia Dortmund.
