Rasmus Hojlund is reportedly joining Real Madrid in the summer of 2024. The Danish striker was used by Real Madrid as an alternative when they failed to get the services of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Rasmus Hojlund has indeed performed well with Manchester United this season. After being brought from Atalanta for 73.9 million pounds, he has scored 11 goals in 29 matches in all competitions.
The Danish national team striker is starting to find his touch at Old Trafford after experiencing difficulties. According to Spanish media, Defensa Central, a representative from Madrid, Juni Calafat, has been tasked with monitoring Rasmus Hojlund in recent months.
However, the striker appears to have made his feelings clear about his potential transfer from Manchester United. In August 2023, Ramus Hojlund said that he had no intention of leaving Old Trafford and wanted to win the title.
“It’s not often you get everything in one package, but I think it just happened naturally between me and Manchester United. “This is a perfect match,” said Hojlund, quoted from Sportbible, Wednesday (14/2/2024).
“At the moment the club is going through a process, and I really want to be part of it. “This is also why I chose to come here now, because I feel I can develop with the club, and hopefully we can win lots of trophies together,” he added.
This season, Manchester United only has a chance to win the 2023-2024 FA Cup. Manchester United will meet Nottingham Forest in the fifth round of the 2023-2024 FA Cup.
Meanwhile in the 2023-2024 Premier League, Manchester United is still stuck in sixth position with 41 points, 13 points adrift of Liverpool at the top of the standings.
