Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane believes that his club is still in Spanish La Liga title race and it is wide open. Zidane’s side on Saturday lost two points in the title race after played out 0-0 draw against its rivals Atletico Madrid.
The Los Blancos currently at third place in La Liga standigs with 24 points after playing 12 games this season, 10 points behind closest rivals FC Barcelona after winning a 3-0 to Leganes.
However, it does not to worry French manager. Zidane knows that his men have ample means to pull themselves together to narrow the gap with the Catalan club, which still does not weaken.
“Barca will not always pick up points, and we must be there waiting. Football can change quickly, and we will be there fighting until the end, for sure.” Zidane said to media after Saturday’s match.
“We played well but just lacked goal. I have nothing to reproach my players for. We played a great game, deserve more tonight but it was not to be.
“I am sorry for the players, the effort they put in, they deserved more. This is football. Sometimes the ball won’t go in. I cannot explain it really. But it will come, for sure.” Zidane added.
It seems tough for Real, at 26 days of the end of La Liga this year, a fantastic comeback is obviously possible. But against Barca, who has lost only two points so far, it will have to achieve a near fault.

Real will be interested in a solid match against Malaga, Athletic Bilbao, Sevilla FC, and Leganes by the time of the first Clasico on December 23.
“Like last year, and like just two months ago. When a team makes a lot of chances, we cannot be happy, and the players first.” Zidane said.
“But there is no need to get down, we played a good game and must focus on the positive. This will change. I cannot say anything mere than that.
“I don’t see it like that. There are still many games to go, many points to play for. Ten points are a lot, yes, but for sure this will change.” former Real stars added.
When asked about its Champions League matches in current weeks, Real manager denies to talk more and more. However, he believes the reigning champion will comeback soon.
