Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian on Thursday married tennis super star Serene William in a museum, in New Orleans, a very private ceremony for which a block of the city of jazz and party was completely closed for public. However, it believed 250 guests attended the ceremony.
According to the Daily Mail, the costs of the ceremony was estimated at more than US$ 1 million, and guests would be instructed not to bring their cell phones as an exclusive photo agreement was signed with Vogue magazine.
Famous singer Beyonce, fashion pope Anna Wintour, Kim Kardashian and famous actress Eva Longoria including their adorable 2-month-old daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. were seen in front of the Contemporary Arts Center for a ceremony whose theme should be “Beauty and the Beast”.
Venus Williams, Serena’s sister, was seen Wednesday night leaving the museum, while the car park next to the building was filled with tents and trucks unloading flowers, tables, rugs, costumes and musicians.
Earlier in the day, the groom had arrived at the museum in shirts and shorts, with suits shoes in hand, while laborers were busy preparing for the wedding.
Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian announced their engagement through Ohanian’s website in December after meeting in Rome, Italy, in 2015.
“I came home a little late. Someone had a bag packed for me and a carriage waited. Destination: Rome, to escort me to my very own charming. Back to where our stars first collided, and now it was full circle.” Serena wrote.
“At the same table we first met by chance but by choice down on knee. He [Ohanian] said 4 words. And I said yes.” she added.

New Orleans local people on the other hand, said that they very excited about the champion’s wedding ceremony in their city.
“We love it,” said Marry Hubber from New Orleans. “We are happy that she has found happiness. The little baby Alexis is so cute!” she added.
Serena won the 2017 Australian Open tournament as she was pregnant, and she is expected to defend her title in Melbourne in 2018, four and a half months after the birth of her daughter Alexis Jr.
The 36-year-old tennis player became the world number one for the first time on July, 2008. She also won 14 Grand Slam doubles titles.
