It’s normal for the NBA teams to go after little-known players to finish a season.
Here, some of them are not even from this case, but nobody imagined that they would make such numbers in a match.
Jaylen Hoard – 27 points, 17 rebounds, four assists
The Oklahoma City Thunder’s home stretch of last season showcased several players that no one has ever heard of.
However, Jaylen Hoard did well and almost stayed until 2023. He has 39 games in the NBA, including five starts. He had stints with the Blazers and Thunder, averaging 6.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, in about 17 minutes.
Louis King – 27 points, nine rebounds, three steals
In his career, King has 4.2 points and 1.5 rebounds in 9.7 minutes. He threw a decisive block in a win that clinched the Delaware Blue Coats’ 2023 G-League title.
Mario Hezonja – 30 points, six rebounds, five assists
There were 330 games, 69 as a starter. Mario Hezonja recorded 6.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, in 18.5 minutes. Fifth pick in the 2015 draft, the Croatian never reached what was expected in the NBA.
With passages through Magic, Knicks and Blazers, he left the league in 2020. Then he went through Panathinaikos, did very well at Unics Kazan and arrived at Real Madrid for the 2022/23 season.
Bruce Brown – 31 points, six rebounds
There are 348 games, 211 of which as a starter. Tickets for Pistons, Nets and Nuggets. Brown was the best perimeter defender for the Brooklyn Nets, but the team gave up on him and the player signed with the Denver Nuggets, where he has his best season.
Eddie House – 35 points, 7-13 on three-pointers
Eddie House made 717 appearances, including 31 starts. He has passages through nine teams, averaging 7.5 points, 39% in three, in about 17 minutes.
Champion in 2008 for the Celtics, House scored 35 points (personal best) in his last career game in the regular season.
