Carlo Ancelotti will officially take charge of Real Madrid again on Tuesday, July 1 2021. Ancelotti also revealed his feelings after being trusted again to coach the club that has always been his heart’s dream.
Ancelotti is officially trusted by Real Madrid’s management as their tactician. Ancelotti was lined up as a replacement for Zinedine Zidane, who decided to resign from the coaching chair of Los Blancos – Madrid’s nickname – some time ago.
Ancelotti also seems to be really enjoying his second moment with Madrid. In fact, the former AC Milan and Chelsea tactician is ready to accept a new challenge with Madrid.
“I decided to leave because I have a new challenge with the team that has always been in my heart, Real Madrid,” the Italian coach was quoted as saying by Marca, Wednesday (2/6/2021).
In addition, Ancelotti also admitted that he really enjoyed every moment as Everton coach for two seasons (Ancelotti’s club before Real Madrid). Ancelotti also prays that the club nicknamed The Toffees can achieve glory in the future.
“I leave with all the great moments we have had together (Everton) and wish the Club and its fans all the best,” Ancelotti continued.
For your information, Ancelotti had previously handled Madrid in 2013-2015. The 61-year-old man had presented Real Madrid with trophies in the Champions League, European Super Cup, Club World Cup and Copa del Rey.
With Madrid, Ancelotti himself will be tied to a three-season contract or to be precise until June 2024. Madrid’s management also has high hopes that Carlo Ancelotti can restore his club’s glory as he did in the 2013-2015 season.
