Richarlison, who was once doubted by football lovers, seemed to have proven that he deserved to be called up to the Brazil squad to sail for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

In that match Brazil appeared in a 4-2-3-1 formation by installing Richarlison as the spearhead of the team and supported by the trio of Vinicius, Neymar and Raphinha.

Meanwhile, Serbia appeared in a 3-4-2-1 formation by installing Mitrovic, S. Milinkovis-Savic and Dusan Tadic in attack.

Brazil appeared more dominant throughout the 90 minutes with possession of the ball reaching 59 percent and took twenty-two shots with eight of them on target.

On the other hand Serbia had forty-one percent possession and had five shots but none were on target.

In the first half Brazil immediately confined the Serbian defense.

In the 21st minute’ Casemiro tries to shoot from outside the box but his shot is caught by the Serbian keeper.

Brazil continued to pound the Serbian defense, in the 35th minute a one-two pass between Raphinha and Paqueta almost resulted in a goal.

Unfortunately Raphinha’s shot was still too weak and was caught well by the Serbian goalkeeper.

The score ended in a goalless draw in the first half.

The second half had only been running for one minute Raphinha almost broke the deadlock for Brazil.

But again, his shot was thwarted by V. Milinkovic-Savic.

This time, Alex Sandro attempted a shot from outside the penalty box in the 60th minute.

Unfortunately the left back’s shot was still hit by the Serbian goal post.

Finally Brazil was able to break the deadlock through Richarlison in the 62nd minute after receiving a rebound from Vinicius’ shot which was pushed aside by the Serbian goalkeeper.

In the 73rd minute, Richarlison scored the Serbian goal again after receiving a pass from Vinicius.

Richarlison was able to follow Vinicius’ bait with a beautiful goal which the Serbian goalkeeper failed to contain.

Brazil almost added a goal in the 81st minute through Casemiro but his shot was still hit by the Serbian crossbar.

Score two blank ends until the long whistle sounded.
