Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media a great moment when he and family welcome newborn daughter.
Ronaldo holds his newborn daughter with Alana Martina, while his girlfriend Rodriguez Georgina sits with his three other children Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., Eva Maria and Mateo Ronaldo in the photo taken at home.
“Sweet home. Gio and her daughter are finally back home with us. We want to thank everyone for all the kind words and gestures. Your support is very important.” Ronaldo posted.
“We all feel the love and respect that everyone has for the family. It’s time for us to be grateful for the life we have in this world.” he added.
Ronaldo and his partner Georgina were expecting twins and the April 18 Instagram message from the former Real Madrid and Juventus striker revealed that the twin baby girl was born, but their son did not survive.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel.” Ronaldo said.
“Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.” the Portuguese captain added.
Ronaldo received an outpouring of solidarity from football fans at the Anfield Stadium on Wednesday during the Liverpool vs Manchester United match.
In the 7th minute of the match between Liverpool and Manchester United, the home fans stood to sing and offer condolences to Ronaldo who lost a newborn child.
“One world… one sport… one global family… Thank you Anfield. My family and I will never forget this moment full of respect and compassion,” Ronaldo posted.
Ronaldo has been in good form of late, with his hat-trick helping stave off an otherwise-disappointing result against Norwich City last time out.
