Fortunately, after been left behind in the position no.10 at the beginning of the new season MotoGP Qatar2017. Rossi can rush to the front and finish his race at the 3rd place. It was all due to his skill to tame down the head part of Yamaha YZR-M1 specification version 2017, plus his speed at the corner prove to be an aid for him.
Although he happened to prove the breakthrough of the new set of motor and could finish on the podium in MotoGP Qatar 2017. Rossi was once thought to used back his old bike which was Yamaha YZR-m1 2016 version, whom was well used by new debutante of team Satellite Monster Yamaha Tech 3, Johann Zarco and Jonas Folger.
“We were making a new adjustment, first of all is to bring in the new stability when the driver is in the corner race, and my team also made a great modification for the front body part of the bike. I was strong at the brake,” said Rossi.
“At the beginning, I felt better with Yamaha 2016, but Yamaha would love me better when I tried to use the 2017 version. And it was also because Vinales could drive the 2017 version so well, so I think I should also can do it, although I have to be given a much more additional time.” continued Rossi.
The focus is now on the next race, the second race of the season which to be taken in Argentina in MotoGP Argentina 2017, taking place at Autodromo Termas de Rio Hondo, Santiago del Estero, from friday to sunday (7-9 April 2017).
“The result is very well for us (Yamaha), we felt good both on the feeling and the technique, because we are now well learned about the new bike. For the team itself, it will be better if both of the driver are driving the same bike. We should continue to do well and continue to perform,” continued the 38 years old driver.
