Roster Shuffle: Infamous Disband, MP Exits Fnatic, GeekFam Appoints New Analyst!

Roster Shuffle: Infamous Disband, MP Exits Fnatic, GeekFam Appoints New Analyst!

The International Qualification (TI9), which is getting closer, seems to be influencing various teams to immediately make a team overhaul to get tickets to appear in the Dota 2 tournament.

But the unfortunate fate seemed to approach the Infamous team. After having to settle for being distended at EPICENTER Major, the Peruvian team decided to disband.

This news spread after one of their players, Dominik “Black ^” Reitmeier gave a shocking statement on his personal Twitter account. Infamous although it is a team from Peru, but none of the players came from that country. The closest, only Papita from Argentina and 4 other players from Europe.

If you look at the struggle of Infamous in 2019, indeed this team seems to be looking sluggish. Even so, this team still managed to become a champion on WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Dire America.

With the disbanding of the five Infamous players, will the Infamous team take on an original South American player to qualify for The International 9?

After that, this time we will move to the SEA region. Surprisingly, the team that had confirmed the place at The International, Fnatic officially released Pyo “MP” No-a from the team composition.

Indeed, if we reflect on the Fnatic results at EPICENTER Major, they must be satisfied to be in the final position after having to lose to Forward Gaming with a score of 1-0 in the lower bracket round.

MP himself joined Fnatic in September last year and was one of the keys to success from Fnatic’s escape at The International 9 show. To replace MP, Kim “DuBu” Doo-young was appointed to be the fifth player, leaving the previous position as coach of Fnatic.

The release of MP also automatically makes Fnatic do a new formation. And here is the latest arrangement:

Anucha ‘Jabz’ Jirawong
Abed ‘Abed’ Yusop
Daryl Koh ‘iceiceice’ Pei Xiang
Djardel ‘DJ’ Mampusti
Kim “DuBu” Doo-young

“Changing the formation of teams at the end of the season (DPC) has inherent risk consequences, especially because we make changes internally. But I am very confident that the new changes will bring flexibility and excitement to the fans, “said Eric Khor as the team manager from Fnatic on the official statement of the release of MP from Fnatic.

Apart from Fnatic who made changes, it turns out that GeekFam also made changes to its team. However, different from Fnatic, this time GeekFam has referred new analysts.

He is Ahmad “ADTR” Syazwan, a former RRQ player and coach from Fnatic will formally fill the analyst bench and at the same time signals that GeekFam is not playing to compete in The International 9.
