Silently Reminiscing 1 Year of Kobe Bryant's Death

Silently Reminiscing 1 Year of Kobe Bryant’s Death

It’s been a year since Kobe Bryant passed away. The basketball legend and the LA Lakers club died in a helicopter crash in California, January 26, 2020.

Kobe was gone forever with his daughter Gianna Maria Onore and seven other people including the pilot who boarded a Sikorsky S-76B helicopter while on his way to Mamba Academy.

A total of 5 NBA championships were presented by Kobe Bryant in his career with LA Lakers: the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009 and 2010 seasons.

In the United States basketball national team, Kobe helped Uncle Sam’s country win gold medals at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, and won the 2007 American Championship.

A series of prestigious trophies plus a series of individual titles put Kobe Bryant, who retired in 2016 as a basketball legend.

Therefore, when the world was shocked by the death of Kobe in a helicopter crash in the hills of Calabasas, California, the world suddenly became gloomy.

Kobe Bryant, other sports fields, are not only saddened by basketball, and everyone who knows Kobe is overwhelmed by the sad news. One of them is former President of the United States Donald Trump who labeled Kobe as the best basketball player of all time.

In the world of music, singer Justin Bieber is reported to have paid up to US $ 1,200 to get the artwork made in memory of the late Kobe Bryant.

Not wanting to be left behind, Jennifer Lopez also gives a touch of ‘2’ and ’24’ to her nail art. This number belongs to Gianna and Kobe. This new nail art was exhibited in a photo upload on his personal Twitter account.

Real Madrid took time for a moment of silence before holding training. Meanwhile, AC Milan also paid tribute to Kobe through the giant monitor at the San Siro Stadium.

A number of players who appeared at the Australian Open at the end of January 2020 also mourned Kobe’s departure. Nick Kyrgios wore the Kobe jersey while warming up, while young tennis player Coco Gauff wrote the numbers 8 and 24, the jersey number of Kobe, with Mamba Mentality written on the shoe.

The love and respect that was too great for Kobe Bryant also gave rise to a petition that reached 1 million people so that the basketball legend became the new NBA logo.

Now, the one-year tribute to Kobe’s death is held in silence. LA Lakers will not be holding a special ceremony in memory of one of its greatest players.

“Everyone has their own grieving process. Everyone understands that everyone is different. Everyone grieves differently,” said Lakers star LeBron James.

“There is a saying that ‘time heals all.’ It is as devastating and tragic as it was and is still for all of us involved with it. Only time [will help]. And it takes time, “added LeBron.

The late Kobe’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, also asked the media to rethink before showing photos and videos of the helicopter crash of her husband and son Gianna.

“We don’t want to see it,” Vanessa wrote of the video and photos of the accident.

“Our [2020] year was quite traumatic. We hope that the memorable videos are made in a classy and tasteful way that honors our losses. Thank you,” Vanessa added.

Even though it was held in silence, the name Kobe Bryant will continue to exist. As LeBron James points out, Kobe Bryant is a legend who won’t die.
