Real Madrid coach Santiago Solari called his team’s 0-3 defeat of Eibar in the Spanish League at the Ipurua Municipal Stadium on Saturday (24/11), because they could not play with courage.
Eibar’s goals in the match were scored by Gonzalo Escalante in the 16th minute, Sergi Enrich (52′), and Kike (57′). According to Varane, Eibar successfully made Real Madrid having difficulty in the match.
Solari assessed the Los Blancos defeat not because Gareth Bale and his friends lost character. It’s just that, the visitors do not have the courage of the host. In addition, some of the opportunities that are obtained also cannot be maximized into goals.
“Eibar played with courage and we were unable to do it, but we did not lose because of that. They are better than us,” Solari was quoted as saying by Football Espana.
Meanwhile, Madrid defender Raphael Varane assessed the poor results achieved by the Champions League defending champion was due to a crisis of teamwork.
“When we lost an individual duel, it hurt us. We could not respond to high pressure and their second ball [Eibar],” said Varane.
“We have the quality to play football, but we are not in a good way in teamwork. We lost a direct battle and could not find a solution,” Varane added.

The three goals lodged in Thibaut Courtois’s goal made Madrid now concede 19 goals in 13 matches in Spanish La Liga competition.
“Conceding 19 goals in La Liga is a collective problem. We all have to improve this aspect so we can win more matches,” Varane said.
The captain Sergio Ramos did not deny criticism of his team, including himfself.

But the coach, Santiago Solari, seemed to disagree with Ramos. He did not see the lack of attitudes and desires of players in the field. He considered the players had worked hard.
