Carlo Ancelotti touched on the title race before Real Madrid faces Barcelona in the 2023-2024 Spanish League. The match entitled El Clasico will have a big influence on the competition between the two teams in winning the Spanish League title this season.
Los Blancos – Real Madrid’s nickname – will host Barcelona in Week 32 of the 2023-2024 Spanish League. The match will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid, Spain on Monday (22/4/2024).
The result of the match will change the points gap between the two teams. Currently, Real Madrid is still at the top of the standings with 78 points. They are eight points ahead of Barcelona.
With seven matches remaining (including El Clasico), tomorrow’s match will be very influential for both teams. Ancelotti is optimistic that Real Madrid is very close to the 2023-2024 Spanish League title.
“We are very close (to the Spanish League title), when we will play against a very competitive team,” said Ancelotti, quoted from Marca, Saturday (20/4/2024).
However, the coach with an Italian passport is wary of Barcelona which continues to develop. Because of this, Don Carlo – Carlo Ancelotti’s nickname – gave a signal that Real Madrid would go all out in the upcoming El Clasico.
“They did very well. “A normal, balanced, competitive Clásico match is an opportunity to win the League,” said Ancelotti.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid currently still has the opportunity to win the Champions League trophy this season. Carlo Ancelotti’s troops managed to get rid of Manchester City in the quarter-finals, and will meet Bayern Munich in the semifinals.
