The team, founded in 2012, has won three League of Legends World Championships and five other Major tournament titles, including the LoL Mid-Season Invitationals in 2016 and 2017. Not long ago, the T1 team won the Korean Champions League of Legends and entered the quarterfinals the finals of the World Championship.
“We have been supporting SK Telecom T1 since 2015 and we see that young audiences are getting to know us better thanks to the close collaboration between us,” said KLEVV Head of Marketing, Jay Lee, quoted by The Esports Observer. “The opportunity to become T1’s official gaming memory partner is something we’ve been waiting for, and we will also continue to support T1 Entertainment & Sports in their efforts to carve out various achievements in the world of esports.”
Besides KLEVV, T1 Entertainment & Sports also has other sponsors, namely the gaming chair maker, Secretlab. As a gaming chair sponsor, Secretlab will provide a gaming chair that will be used by all T1 members, both during training and when competing. In addition, the chairs in red and black with the T1 brand will also be sold to the wider community. Lagardère Sports is an intermediary that bridges T1 with its two new sponsors, KLEVV and Secretlab.
