Team Spirit lifted their first tier one trophy of 2025 after defeating Eternal Fire 3-1 in the BLAST Bounty Season 1 finals. Despite losing Anubis (14-16), they dominated Nuke (13-6), Dust2 (13-3), and Mirage (13-8).
Spirit played without coach Sergey “hally” Shavaev and showed some weaknesses throughout the tournament. They fell to overtime on Ancient against Natus Vincere and lost a 12-4 lead in the finals. However, they held their nerve in the final three maps to start the year the same way they ended 2024.
Meanwhile, Eternal Fire performed surprisingly throughout the tournament. The Turkish team managed to defeat top teams such as Team Vitality and G2 Esports before bowing to donk Cs in the grand final.
Map Anubis
Despite winning the pistol round and the next round, Eternal Fire only added one more point and made the point difference quite far, 3-9. Eternal Fire slowly but surely managed to rise from behind and equalize the score to 12-12. woxic Cs finally managed to win the first game after winning in the overtime round, a score of 1-0 for Eternal Fire.
Map Nuke
Spirit took a quick lead, reaching a map point of 12-4 before Eternal Fire began to show resistance. However, Spirit closed this game with a score of 13-6 and equalized the score.
Map Dust2
Spirit’s dominance was increasingly unstoppable in the third game. They performed almost perfectly and did not give the opposing team a chance to develop their game. Spirit ended Eternal Fire’s resistance in the third game with a score of 13-3.
Map Mirage
Eternal Fire was once again rendered helpless in the fourth game. They again failed to display their best gameplay in this deciding map. Trailing 4-8 in the first half, woxic Cs finally had to surrender 8-13 to Spirit.
donk again performed impressively with 22-7 K-D, 129.9 ADR, and a rating of 2.28 in Dust2. MAJ3R praised donk as a “little monster” who was able to read his movements.
