Marc Marquez attempted to overtake Rossi from the inside then both clashed each other. With the result that Rossi was out side the track (gravel), but he did not fall and it makes Rossi finished the race as number one. And Marquez had to settle for second place.

According to Crash.net after 8 rounds Rossi extended his championship lead to 10 points, with Jorge Lorenzo. Rossi has 163 points, Lorenzo has 153 points.
Now, Rossi increased hi confidence after eight rounds. If he able to perform consistently, It is quite possible to reach eighth title on this season.
