The Samsung Galaxy Gaming Academy 2024 talent search event kicked off the Awesome Roadshow qualification series held in Jakarta. Located at the Sentinel Cyber Arena, Duren Sawit, dozens of communities from the esports team fan base and amateur teams gathered to compete for first place.
The winner of the Awesome Roadshow Jakarta will get a slot to the Samsung Galaxy Gaming Academy 2024 playoffs. In addition to the matches, there are many other exciting things that involve all participants who come to the venue.
There was a talk show session with pro player LeoMurphy who shared stories about his career journey in esports. In this session, LeoMurphy revealed that he also came from a community that diligently participated in tournaments or attended events. As if it was an encouragement, the Q&A session with LeoMurphy managed to inspire the participants who competed today.
The Awesome Roadshow series of events began lively, from hundreds of registrants, 16 teams were finally selected to compete at the Sentinel Cyber Arena. They competed simultaneously to determine the 4 best teams who were entitled to advance to the semifinals.
After holding fierce matches, the semifinalists were selected, namely Sersan Esports vs Philadelphia and Izora Aumn vs TLC Elsu. From the match that took place, Sersan and Izora Aumn performed brilliantly. Both of them successfully completed the match smoothly until they finally qualified for the final.
In the deciding match, a fierce match occurred. Sersan Esports managed to secure the first match. However, Izora Aumn did not give up. They managed to equalize the score to 1-1.
The match got hotter, both teams traded attacks. The momentum of victory was finally obtained by Sersan Esports after they managed to level the Izora Aumn squad at the base. As a result, the winner of the Awesome Roadshow was found, Sersan Esports was entitled to qualify for the Samsung Galaxy Gaming Academy 2024 playoffs.
