The skyrocketed Salary in Juventus

Comparison of Juventus players’s salary with other clubs for the 2020-2021 season is like heaven and earth. Of course the superstar Cristiano Ronaldo owns the sky, while other players on earth.

Ronaldo gets paid as much as 31 million euros in one season and ranks the highest salary at Juventus. The amount paid to the man nicknamed CR7 is also the highest not only at Juventus but also at the Italian League.

Meanwhile, the second highest salary at Juventus and the Italian League is occupied by young defender Matthijs De Ligt. However, his salary is almost a quarter of what Ronaldo earned. The young Dutch star gets paid eight million euros in one year at the Turin club.

In the Juventus payroll, under De Ligt there are Paulo Dybala, Adrien Rabiot, Aaron Ramsey who are on the decline in numbers but not much. In total, Juve must pay 236 million euros to all the players they have each year. This amount is the highest in all football clubs in Italy.

The salary expenses of the club nicknamed The Big Mistress far exceeds the payment of players in Inter Milan and AS Roma who are in the second and third highest positions in the Italian League. Inter Milan has a salary cost for its players of 149 million euros. Meanwhile, AS Roma amounted to 112 million euros.

At Inter Milan, salary of former Manchester United bomber, Romelu Lukaku, became the highest. However, Lukaku’s salary is still only a quarter of what Ronaldo get at Juventus. Lukaku’s annual salary is 7.5 million euros. The same amount received by his colleague, Christian Eriksen.

Juventus is represented by five players in the top 10 list of salaries for Serie A players. Meanwhile, Inter Milan is represented by three personnel (Lukaku, Eriksen, and Alexis Sanchez).

Surprisingly, the total salary of the Juventus squad actually decreased by 58 million euros from last season. On the other hand, the total salary of the Inter Milan squad has increased by 10 million euros this season. Other elite Italian League teams that have seen an increase in season salaries are Lazio (+ 11 million euros) and Atalanta (+ 6 million euros).
