Real Madrid’s footballers showed once again the reason for being considered fantastic players even in the times when the luck hasn’t been on their side exactly. On Tuesday night Real Madrid’s players managed to defeat Elche in the fifth round of Primera Championship.
Carlo Ancelotti can consider himself lucky to have a footballer like the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo in his team. What happened tonight is that Cristiano simply ‘exploded’ like a bomb in the match versus Elche. He netted four times tonight right after having netted three times against La Coruna Deportivo just three days ago.
The guests from Elche actually started the match pretty good. They played well and everything seemed like the tough match is going to be ahead of us but very soon things turned upside-down. The match has began with a fantastic goal by Edu Albacar in the 15th minute. However, their fame didn’t last much longer than five minute because already in the 20th minute Real Madrid made it even with an interesting goal from Gareth Bale and a ball slipped into Elche’s net in no time.
The following four goals represent a masterpiece as we know it from the talented Portuguese – Cristiano Ronaldo. As if it hasn’t been enough Ronaldo also made it possible to score even in the stoppage time, receiving a pass from Gareth Bale.
After the match, although everything was pretty clear what happened, the Portuguese did state that this is certainly the victory of the whole team. Ronaldo affirmed for Canal Plus that the whole team was actually making this victory possible. He didn’t want to take all the fame and glory for himself and played humble by saying that this is certainly possible thanks to the help that came from his team-mates that had helped him a lot. Having said all this, he also dedicated the last match ball to his son.
Carlo Ancelotti didn’t stay silent either. He stated for the papers, as if this was a reasonable outcome of the match, that Ronaldo played really good and that this is happening because is so motivated by, clearly, scoring many goals.
Carlo Ancelotti’s team is performing great at Primera Championship and in only six days they have scored incredible 18 goals. What can we say in the end except the next opponent should be on alert because Real Madrid seems to be ‘on fire’.
