Thomas Tuchel Happy to See Chelsea’s Game when Facing Fulham

Chelsea managed to achieve positive results when continuing the English League for the 2020-2021 season. Facing Fulham, the squad for the Blues – nicknamed Chelsea – managed to pick a 2-0 win over their opponent.

In a match played at Stamford Bridge Stadium, Chelsea did appear impressive from the early minutes. In fact, Chelsea only needed 10 minutes to be able to open up the advantage over Fulham through a cheat from Kai Havertz.

After winning quickly, Chelsea did not relieve their pressure at all against Fulham defense. Even a number of golden opportunities were obtained by Chelsea to be able to increase their advantage over Fulham.

Only in the 49th minute did Chelsea increase their 2-0 lead over Fulham through Havertz’s brace. In the remaining matches, Chelsea did spread threats to Fulham’s defense several times.

However, until the referee blew the long whistle signaling the end of the match, no additional goals were scored by Chelsea. Chelsea itself finally managed to finish the match with a final score of 2-0.

After the match against Fulham, Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel then gave his comments. Yes, Tuchel admitted that he was very happy to see the performance shown by his team at the match.

“Yes, this (against Fulham) is a perfect match and the players can get a lot of praise from the coach for that,” said Tuchel, as summarized from the London Football, Sunday (2/5/2021).

“If you look at the standings, see Fulham are at the bottom of the standings, you can get a headache because they are stronger than their position in the standings. They are fully prepared. Apart from that, this is also about mental management, “the German coach continued.

“That’s why the team gets a lot of praise. “It was a big win and we arrived with a clear mind with nothing to regret or think about ahead of Wednesday’s match (against Real Madrid in the 2020-2021 Champions League semi-final second leg),” he concluded.
