Three players affected by Aaron Ramsey departure

Three players affected by Aaron Ramsey departure

Aaron Ramsey is certain to join Juventus next season. Ramsey has signed a four-year contract with the Serie A champions.

Ramsey’s contract with Arsenal will expire at the end of the season. Thus, the midfielder will dock in Turin for free.

After moving to Juventus, Ramsey will get paid £ 400,000 per week. This made Ramsey listed as a United Kingdom player with the most expensive salary in history.

Ramsey’s departure will be a big blow to Arsenal who are in need of major improvements. However, Ramsey’s departure will also have an impact on some Arsenal players.

Here are three Arsenal players who will be affected by the departure of Aaron Ramsey as reported by Paininthearsenal.

MESUT OZIL

Mesut Ozil got a new contract with a salary of 350,000 pounds last year. Arsenal’s decision to give a very large salary for Ozil made Ramsey left. The Gunners withdrew from contract negotiations because they were unable to pay Ramsey’s salary.

Ramsey left a lot of pressure on Ozil to appear more. Or for sale so Arsenal can reduce their salary burden. Ozil is arguably unable to perform according to his fantastic contract so far, and considering that he is more important than Ramsey, it is truly unfair.

The more time passes, the greater the error of the new contract will appear. Ozil is now a reserve player who gets a fairly large salary and does not match the style of Unai Emery. Meanwhile, the central midfielder who is very compatible with Emery will go free. It doesn’t look good at all.

EMILE SMITH ROWE

There was a rumor at the start of the season if Arsenal did not mind Ramsey leaving at the end of the season due to the appearance of Emile Smith Rowe. The 18-year-old player is considered a substitute who is ready to use in the attacking midfielder’s position.

That is not excessive considering that if there is a player in the Arsenal squad who is the most comparable to Ramsey, then that is Smith Rowe. Smart, mobile, very energetic and skilled at the ball, both have many similarities in key attributes. It would not be surprising if Unai Emery regarded Smith Rowe as a successor to Ramsey.

Ramsey’s departure will open up opportunities to play for Smith Rowe. The midfielder is currently undergoing a six-month loan period at RB Leipzig to find opportunities to play in the first team. The decision was made largely due to the presence of Ramsey. However, Ramsey will leave in the summer.

That gave Smith Rowe the chance to not only play but to win the starter. Emery is rebuilding Arsenal and there will be a position to fight for. Smith Rowe can fight for the starting position next season.

DENIS SUAREZ

Denis Suarez was recruited not to replace Aaron Ramsey. Although his position is an attacking midfielder, able to make assists and score, Suarez was brought to the Emirates to provide other options in the wing position.

But playing wide isn’t Suarez’s best position. As with all Arsenal wingers, Suarez prefers to play in the middle, behind a single striker, a role very similar to Ramsey.

If Suarez’s loan spell for six months ends in success, the Gunners can invest long-term with the Spaniard especially if Mesut Ozil leaves the club. In that scenario, Suarez might be the best substitute for Ramsey.
