The dismissal of Jose Mourinho is a sacking that is enough to steal attention in the Premier League this season. The Portuguese manager had to lose his position after Manchester United had a bad start.
However, Mourinho’s departure seemed to be a blessing for the Red Devils. Because, Paul Pogba’s performance and colleagues increased dramatically after the Portuguese man left the club.
Several other clubs have also made manager changes. They are Fulham, Southampton and Huddersfield who are currently starting a new life with new managers.
At present there are also some managers who are under pressure at their respective clubs. In fact, it is not impossible they will lose their jobs in the near future.
Here are three of the Premier League’s top managers who are under pressure as reported by Sportskeeda.
UNAI EMERY
Unai Emery took over Arsenal in the summer from Arsene Wenger’s hand. However, no one would have thought if the pressure demanded the Spanish manager to leave had begun to be heard.
After being eliminated from the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, the Gunners had to endure the shame in the Europa League event. They lost in Belarus from BATE Borisov and it made Arsenal supporters angry.
The willingness to make a change made Emery potentially lose her job in North London. Arsenal Wenger has handled Arsenal for 22 years, but Emery’s work with Arsenal can be short-lived.
MARCO SILVA
After making a very good start to his career as the new Everton manager, Marco Silva is now experiencing difficulties. In his last three matches, Everton lost to Wolverhampton Wanderers, Watford and Manchester City.
His most embarrassing defeat may have occurred in the FA Cup where the Toffees lost to Championship club Millwall. According to fans, Everton now looks like a team that cannot survive or score goals.
Everton will face Cardiff City at the end of the month and after that, they will face Liverpool in the Merseyside Derby. If Everton suffered defeat from the hands of their fierce rivals, Silva’s time at Goodison Park could end.
MAURIZIO SARRI
Sarri is probably the most likely manager to be fired in the near future. After a subpar and inconsistent appearance, the Blues are now having difficulty achieving positive results.
Sarri was able to bring Chelsea to an impressive result at the start of the season. However, Eden Hazard and colleagues’ performance then dropped dramatically. Peak, Chelsea slaughtered Manchester City with a landslide score of 6-0.
During this time, Chelsea were known to be very cruel in treating their managers and Sarri could become the next victim. The London club are now sixth in the Premier League standings and can fail to finish in the Champions League zone again.
