Former World No.1 golfer, Tiger Woods, on Sunday has overall made his return to the golf course after a ten-month absence by finishing ninth at the Hero World Challenge in New- Providence, Bahamas.
He chained four days of competition without feeling, he assured, of pain and finished an honest ninth place with his total of 280 (-8), ten shots of his fellow Rickie Fowler (270).
Woods joined Albany Golf Club clubhouse with a 68 (-4) card with one eagle, six birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey.
The 41-year-old American golfer, dropped to 1199th place worldwide, he sometimes regained his former level, arousing the enthusiasm of spectators, among which was the No.1 tennis star, Rafael Nadal.
“I knew I could play four rounds, it would not be a problem. The question was what my score would be and what my feelings would be.” Woods said.
“How I was going to handle the adrenaline rush, because it’s the first time in a long time. It took a little bit of time.” he added.
Woods has passed his passed his test since he had his back surgery for the fourth time in April, while, he had hinted that his health problems could force him to end his career.
“When I was struggling with my back, the world seemed very small. Day-to-day stuff was very difficult for me to do.” Woods said.

“Now I’m able to sit back and enjoy it a little bit, talk to more people, go out to more dinners and it’s been really nice.
“I’ve come out on the other side and I feel fantastic. A lot of my friends have helped me. Now that I’m feeling the way I’m feeling.
“It’s just hard to imagine that I was living the way I was living with my foot not working, my leg not working, and then the hours of not being able to sleep at all because of the pain.
“So as my back improved, I’ve been able to start sleeping again because I don’t have the nerve pain going down my leg, I don’t have my leg twitching all over the place, I don’t have these issues anymore.” he added.
The Hero World Challenge is an invitation event, bringing together 18 of the best players in the world. Including World No.1 Dustin Johnson, who finished at 14th place. Jordan Spieth and Briton Tommy Fleetwood, meanwhile, shared the 3rd place with a total of 276.
