Toby Price Announces His Split with KTM

Toby Price has recently announced the end of his long-standing partnership with KTM. This development marks a significant shift in Price’s illustrious career, opening the door to new opportunities and challenges on the horizon.

Price’s journey with KTM has been nothing short of remarkable. Since joining forces with the Austrian manufacturer in 2013, he has established himself as one of the most dominant figures in the world of off-road racing.

With back-to-back Dakar Rally victories in 2016 and 2019, the Australian has solidified his status as a true icon in the sport, showcasing unparalleled skill and determination on some of the world’s toughest terrains.

However, as Price bids farewell to KTM, he embarks on a new chapter filled with uncertainty and excitement.

In a statement addressing the contract termination, Price expressed gratitude for the years spent with KTM and the countless memories made together.

“KTM has decided to not renew my contract so Dakar 2024 was my last event with them,” Price said.

“I do feel like I’m still in my prime and going out there fighting for wins, especially at Dakar so it’s unfortunate to not have that opportunity to do it in 2025 but I’m really appreciative of the support they gave me in my career.” he added.

Price also hinted at the possibility of exploring new avenues and partnerships moving forward, underscoring his relentless pursuit of excellence and his unwavering commitment to the sport.

As he looks ahead to the future, Price is undoubtedly poised to continue pushing the boundaries of off-road racing and inspiring fans around the world with his unmatched talent and resilience.

For KTM, the departure of Price represents the end of an era. Throughout their partnership, Price played a pivotal role in elevating the brand’s profile on the international stage, delivering unforgettable performances and cementing KTM’s legacy as a powerhouse in off-road racing.
