Tom Brady Signs a Deal with Fox Sports to Become a NFL Analyst

Tom Brady is reportedly will become a NFL analyst for FOX Sports in the United States when he retires from American football.

According to reports, the 44-year-old quarterback contract is worth $375 million for 10 years.

The American football icon recently decided to play at least one more season after announcing his retirement in February.

“We are pleased to announce that immediately following his playing career, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady will join us at FOX Sports as our lead analyst,” the FOX said in a statement.

Brady would be the eighth highest-paid player in the NFL if he signed the deal. In fact, he’s missing $15 million this year in order to continue playing football for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

We therefore understand a little better why Troy Aikman, who was the main analyst on the airwaves of Fox for two decades, did not have an offer for a new contract at the end of last season.

Aikman instead became the senior analyst for ESPN, which is the broadcaster of the prestigious Monday Night Football.

While, senior analyst Dan Graziano spoke about the news on Get Up and said that he doesn’t think this development means this is Brady’s last season in the NFL.

“The announcement made it clear this is a deal that starts whenever he decides he’s done playing football, that does not have to be next offseason.” Graziano said.

“Tom Brady has a contract with the Buccaneers that voids after this year. He could be playing somewhere else in 2023, (or) go back to Tampa in 2023.” he added.

Brady is known as the greatest NFL player of all time, and he holds the majority of the league’s top records, including wins (243), Super Bowl MVPs (five), completed passes (7,263), yards overhead (84,520), and touchdown passes (624). Furthermore, he has won more Super Bowls than any other team in the NFL.
