Too tough! BOOM ID Returns to Represent Indonesia in the 2019 Predator League

BOOM ID still proves itself to be the best Dota 2 team in Indonesia. Dreamocel and his friends successfully returned to being Indonesia’s representatives in the 2019 Predator League.

This success seemed to repeat their achievement in the previous year. At that time BOOM ID was also a representative of Indonesia and won second place when playing the 2018 Predator League event.

BOOM ID’s journey to become Indonesia’s representative did look smooth and without a single defeat. The team that also faced the famous Dota 2 team in Indonesia, EVOS and PG. BarracX, were successfully overthrown.

When the final upper bracket, they met with The Prime who they beat successfully with a score of 2-0. The Prime finally returned to meet with BOOM ID in the grand final after they successfully defeated EVOS with a score of 2-0.

Not a few of the audience who think The Prime has prepared a special strategy when returning to challenge BOOM ID in the ultimate match. The first game looks fierce even though BOOM ID is a networth superior. But, The Prime still provides a layered defense that forces BOOM ID to have to push several times before finally securing the first point.

The final match that uses the BO3 system makes The Prime have to play neatly in the second game in order to equalize in order to force the third game. Unfortunately, BOOM ID seems to have known the game pattern of The Prime so that it can easily dominate the game. Preparation is ripe when the team fight is balanced with the momentum push that has been successfully kept making BOOM ID back to securing the second game.

The meeting against BOOM ID, seemed to be a reunion for inYourdreaM. He was then successful in bringing his former team to second place in the 2018 Acer Predator League. But unfortunately, BOOM ID seemed so strong and successfully defeated The Prime with a score of 2-0.

Gisma “Melon” Priayudha, who is also the 2019 Dota 2 Predator League caster, admitted that the quality of BOOM ID is now very different from other Indonesian teams.

“Even The Prime which brought in IYD has not provided meaningful resistance during the grand final,” he said.

He is optimistic that the team nicknamed Hungry Beast can lift the championship trophy while playing the 2019 Predator League event.

“When viewed from opponents who have already escaped, they are very likely to become champions,” he said.

Agreeing with Melon, Dimas “Dejet” Surya Rizki who is also the Dota 2 Predator League 2019 caster claimed that BOOM ID was already at the Tier 1 SEA level.

“Naturally they are champions because the quality is indeed no longer the level of Indonesia, but it is already a tier 1 SEA,” he said.

Dreamocel and friends have been waiting for by seven other teams. There are Lotac who are representatives of Malaysia, Signify from India, Alpha Red from Thailand, and Chinster from Singapore.

The remaining three other teams from the Philippines, Mongolia and Sri Lanka have not yet held qualifications. The Predator League 2019 main event will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on the upcoming 15-17 2019.

The total prize contested reached US $ 400,000. Can BOOM ID be the best in SEA?
