Top of the Premier League Standings After Manchester City and Arsenal Successful Won

Liverpool were temporarily displaced from the top of the Premier League standings after Manchester City and Arsenal successfully won on Saturday (6/4).
Arsenal has the right to occupy the top of the Premier League standings after defeat Brighton & Hove Albion 3-0 in the Premier League.

Arsenal were already leading 1-0 through Bukayo Saka in the first half. In the second half, Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard completed the Gunners' victory to 3-0.
Arsenal's aggressive play was actually able to be matched by Brighton until the middle of the first half. However, the hosts finally missed in the 33rd minute through Bukayo Saka's penalty.
Winger calmly fired a low shot into the left corner of the goal to trick goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen who was moving in the wrong direction.

The referee pointed to the spot after Gabriel Jesus' individual movement was blocked by Tariq Lamptey in the penalty box.

Even though Arsenal appeared dominant, Brighton was also able to threaten. The hosts' best chance occurred in the 44th minute through Julio Enciso's action.

Enciso made a surprise by releasing a curling kick from the left side of the penalty box but his shot was brilliantly parried by David Raya. Arsenal's 1-0 lead lasted until the first half break.

Arsenal was able to increase their lead in the second half through Kai Havertz's goal in the 62nd minute. Kai Havertz's shot using Jorginho's pass was unable to be blocked by Verbruggen.
Leandro Trossard, who came on as a substitute, managed to get his name on the scoreboard in the 86th minute. Trossard made a solo run before conquer the Verbruggen.

Brighton continued to try to score a goal back in the remainder of the match, but not a single goal was scored. Arsenal has the right to emerge as winners with a score of 3-0.

This result made Arsenal shoot to the top of the Premier League standings with a collection of 71 points. The Gunners are one point ahead of Liverpool who have dropped to second place.
Liverpool are now under pressure because they have to face Manchester United at Old Trafford Stadium on Sunday (7/4).

Meanwhile, Manchester City is in third place with the same value as Liverpool. Manchester City successfully won when they visited Crystal Palace. Manchester City won 4-2 over Palace at Selhurst Park, London.

The bottom three teams are currently occupied by Luton Town, Burnley and caretaker Sheffield United.
