Tyson Fury Keen to Knockout Oleksandr Usyk in Their Rematch

Tyson Fury has expressed his wish to knockout Oleksandr Usyk during their rematch set for the heavyweight champion of the world titles.

Both met at the first of their bout, in Saudi Arabia, with Usyk winning that on points in May and they will rematch on December 21 for the WBA, WBC and WBO belts.

“I have to be a little bit more focused and smart to get the victory,” Fury said at a news conference in London on Wednesday.

“My rematches with people, I always end up knocking them out, so I’m envisaging something similar against Usyk.” Fury added.

Fury has been on a great ride through his career. He is a boxer that any promoter would want to have on his roster with some really quality knockouts against top fighters in Deontay Wilder and Wladimir Klitschko.

The Ukrainian has proven that he is not an easy competitor, especially after he left the cruiserweight division and moved up in weight.

Respect in the heavyweight division has been earned because of his speed, agility and technical ability in the heavyweight division. But Fury sees weaknesses in Usyk’s game that he’s been able to pinpoint.

“I’ve been studying Usyk, I know how to beat him. I’m gonna go get the fight to him and put him away.” Fury said.

“He’s a good fighter, but he’s never fought anyone like me in the heavyweight division.” Fury added.

“He is a good boxer but he has never faced a fighter like me in the division of the heavy weights.” Fury added.

The rematch will be staged in Riyadh, a city that has established itself as one of the places for major tournaments and particularly boxing.

This monumental clash gets even more exciting by the choice of venue as the Riyadh is expected to stage the battle as fans from all over the world flock the city.

“This is the perfect fight for Riyadh. It’s a city that could put on a show and we’re going to show them a night they’ll remember,” Fury said.
