Former heavyweight championship Tyson Fury claimed he could beat current WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder with one hand in ten seconds.
Fury (26-0-0, 19 KOs) on Wednesday has challed out Wilder (40-0-0, 39 KOs) in a video on his Instagram account. The Gypsy King is currently taking steps to get a scheduled fight for August 18 in Belfast, Ireland. However the former world champion WBA, IBO, WBO, IBF heavyweight would agree at any cost to face Wilder soon.
“Deontay Wilder, I want to apologise on behalf of Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua for this whole story. Essentially, I want to apologise because they come from the same country as me.” Fury said in the video.
“Let me tell you this. You are about to go to the best and the original champion, the real heavyweight champion from the same country, me.
“As for Joshua, he’s not going to fight you. They (Joshua and Hearn) took three months to keep the fans waiting, with no intention of fighting. As for me, I would not hesitate to confront you if only in three seconds.
“Go see your boss, Al Haymon. Send me the contract and I will show you how long it will take for me to sign it. 10 seconds at most and it will be done! ”
“You want to fight the best boxer the country has ever had. If that’s the case, come knocking on my door to see if the “Gypsy King” is not going to answer. Boom! The ball is in your court,” Fury added.

Wilder could be made to wait for a Anthony Joshua fight after the WBA ordered the Brit to sign for a mandatory title defence against Alexander Povetkin in September.
“Today the WBA requested an answer from Anthony Joshua’s team regarding his fight with the mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin.” Mendoza said at the end of June.
“The WABA have allowed over a month extension to negotiations with Povetkin and also ongoing discussions with Deontay Wilder. It appears the Wilder team have returned the contract for the fight and therefore we are requesting a date for the Joshua against Povetkin fight immediate effect.” Mendoza added.
