UEFA has finally announced which countries will host the 2028 and 2023 European Cups. At the 2028 European Cup, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland will work together in this edition. Meanwhile, Italy and Türkiye are believed to be the hosts of the 2023 European Cup.
Previously, a group of countries in Great Britain, such as England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales submitted their bids to host the 2028 European Cup. Not to forget, the Republic of Ireland, which is not part of the Great Britain region, also volunteered to accompany these countries.
Later, there will be nine cities that will host the 2028 European Cup. These cities are Belfast (Northern Ireland), Birmingham (England), Cardiff (Wales), Dublin (Republic of Ireland), Glasgow (Scotland), Liverpool, London, Manchester and Newcastle (England)
However, these eight cities can still change at any time. Through the same official release, UEFA also announced the host of the 2032 European Cup.
It was stated that Turkey was accompanying defending champion Italy to hold this four-yearly event. The two countries have proposed 20 potential stadiums as venues, and these will be announced at a press conference to be held this month.
Before that, the 2024 European Cup tournament will take place in Germany, as the sole host. The 2024 European Cup Qualifying Round has now come to an end.
