Valentino Rossi Funny Moment Ignored by the Spanish MotoGP Champion

There was a hilarious moment after Francesco Bagnaia won the 2024 Spanish MotoGP at the Jerez Circuit, Sunday (28/4/2024). Bagnaia seems like ignored MotoGP legend, Valentino Rossi, while in parc ferme.

This funny moment for Valentino Rossi occurred after the race winner arrived at parc ferme, shortly before taking the podium.

When he arrived at parc ferme, Bagnaia celebrated and chatted with the Ducati crew. Then he chat with Marc Marquez.

Bagnaia’s joy continued by joking with Marco Bezzecchi as the third podium finisher. Bagnaia received congratulations from the team that is synonymous with highlighter green. Valentino Rossi is considered as the ‘guru’ for Both Bagnaia and Bezzecchi.

After the VR46 crew congratulated them, the team owner and MotoGP legend, Valentino Rossi, appeared from behind. Unfortunately for Rossi, Bagnaia did not see his appearance.

Rossi slightly extended his right hand to shake hands with Bagnaia, but the reigning MotoGP champion turned to the left first.

When The Doctor stretched out his hand longer and called him, Bagnaia sped off in the opposite direction. The incident with Bagnaia ignoring Rossi caused a stir among MotoGP commentators.

Bagnaia then celebrated with the audience and did not return to the VR46 camp. The 27 year old racer then chatted with the CEO of Dorna Sports, Carmelo Ezpeleta. In the spotlight of the camera, Bagnaia really didn’t approach VR46 to meet Rossi.

However, in the celebration after climbing the podium, Bagnaia was seen celebrating his success in winning the 2024 Spanish MotoGP with Bezzecchi and Rossi.

Rossi seems happy when he took some photos with Bagnaia and Bezzecchi. Especially when Bezzecchi got his first podium in this season.

Bagnaia won the 2024 Spanish MotoGP after recording a time of 40 minutes 58.053 seconds. The second podium was occupied by Marc Marquez who was 0.372 seconds behind Bagnaia, while Bezzecchi was on the third podium.
