Warriors Beat Timberwolves 114-106

The Golden State Warriors beat the Minnesota Timberwolves at home by 114 to 106 on Monday.

The Warriors won a great game with a lot of substitutions during which Stephen Curry and Buddy Hield played the important part for the team.

Curry scored the highest 30 points and Hield added 27 points while Kuminga scored 20 points for the win vice and avenging for the 107-90 loss to the Timberwolves on Friday for the second win in the last eight games.

After each team led by double digits during the game, the Timberwolves capitalised on a three-pointer from Anthony Edwards to take a 106-105 lead with 4:47 shareholders to the end of the fourth quarter.

Edwards was responsible for six turnovers as Timberwolves failed to score from the field goal attempts for the entire game.

He remains as the team’s leading scorer in Minnesota with 27 points and also tops in assists with 6.

Backup centre for the Timberwolves, Alexander-Walker had 19 points and the team had a four-game winning streak snapped.

Julius Randle, 14 points & 11 rebounds, Mike Conley, 12 points, and Naz Reid, 10 points.

Playing the full game, Curry accrued a game-high 8 assists and split his points further, nailing 5 of 11 from within the paint, while Hield scored the majority of his locker points shooting 7 of 13 from the 3-point line.

Looney topped Golden State had 12 points and 9 rebounds while the Warriors registered their first victory in the last ring combined series against the Timberwolves.

The team has two wins in the last three matches. Now, it has 14 wins in 23 games. Therefore, it occupies the fifth position in the Western Conference.
