Wembley Stadium, Euro 2020 Final Venue Italy vs England

The headquarters of the England National Team, Wembley Stadium, is located at Wembley, London, England. Before it was renovated and turned into the new Wembley stadium as it is now known, there was an old Wembley stadium that already existed.

The Old Wembley Stadium or The Old Wembley opened in 1923 as the empire stadium. This stadium was born from the cold hands of architects Sir John Simpson, Maxwell Ayerton and Sir Owen Williams. The construction of this stadium took approximately 10 months and was inaugurated by King George V on April 23, 1924.

He continued, The Old Wembley was closed in 2000 and dismantled 2 years later. Then, on March 9, 2007, the stadium was officially transformed into The New Webley. Capable of accommodating up to 90,000 seats, Wembley Stadium is officially ranked second (after the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona) as the largest stadium in Europe and is England’s national stadium.

The New Webley was designed by Foster and Partners with a variety of the best supporting facilities, such as a hospitality room specifically rented to executive class audiences.

There is also a room for press conferences, a gift shop, a VVIP room for British guests or guests of honor, a changing room and a restaurant.

Some of the major international matches held here are the FA Cup final from 2008 until now, the English League Cup final, the 2011 Champions League final, the 2012 London Olympics final in football, and the 2020 European Cup final on 12 July 2021.

In addition, Wembley Stadium is also a regular venue for various musical events, such as the Queen band concert in 1985, the Michael Jackson concert. Now the question is, who will win Euro 2020, Italy vs England?
