Antonio Conte has not make a comeback coaching since his unceremonious departure from Chelsea last summer, and his future destination is still a topic that many people have been concerned about.
According to the Italian media, former Juventus manager will replace Niko Kovac as the manager of Bayern Munich. Kovacs took over Bayern last summer, and he has endured a difficult first season in charge at the Allianz Arena.
In the Champions League, the German giants were eliminated by Liverpool, and in the Bundesliga, their current status has gradually returned to stability, regaining the first position.
“Antonio Conte will not return to coach in Serie A. Despite the courtship of Inter and Roma, in the end the former Juventus coach could choose Bayern Munich. The Bavarian club, disappointed by the work of Niko Kovac especially in the Champions League,” Italian media reported.
“The coach from Salento has not yet made a final decision on his future because he prefers to carefully assess where to start after his traumatic break with Chelsea.” they added.
There were apparently some candidates already linked with the Bavarian job such as Zinedine Zidane, Jurgen Klopp. However, Bayern is keen to land Conte this summer.
But Bayern is not the only club that is interested in Conte. According to reports, many Italian clubs are interested in Conte, including Inter Milan and Roma. But Conte demands both clubs to pay him 10 million euros per year as manager. This condition makes his return to Italy coaching becomes very complicated.

“The coach, however, in addition to a millionaire contract, wants a highly competitive lineup and certainly would not accept the sale of the best pieces each year.” Italian media said.
As for Jose Mourinho, like Conte, he has also been reported to be the manager of Inter Milan and Roma. Former Manchester United manager is currently without a club, if he returns to Serie A, then he will only choose to take over Inter. It seems that Mourinho and Conte will be the biggest competitors in the search for new coaching work.
