Wilder Confirms His Rematches with Ortiz and Fury

A few days after revealing his plans for his rematch in the fall, with Luis Ortiz, the undefeated WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, has now stated that his plans are now in place, he also targets lineal champion Tyson Fury once again. The message has now become clear in relation to the future of the American icon.

Wilder will have to go through his announced fight against Ortiz. This event which is targeted for late September is expected to be broadcast by Showtime Pay-Per-View at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

“Well, as I always say I’m the realest champion in the business and as I’ve mentioned before I must handle all my controversial fights ASAP. Luis Ortiz is first then Tyson Fury next,” Wilder said.

“By no means am I looking past Ortiz? He’s a dangerous fighter but I am looking through him.” Wilder added.

Wilder was supposed to begin the year 2019 by delivering a second fight against the British, Fury, with whom he had to be content in the controversy at the points of a shared null verdict in a 12-round bout, last December.

The two boxers were about to agree on all the terms of the contract to play a rematch this spring. However, in an unpredictable way, “Gypsy King” Fury joined himself to Top Rank and the ESPN broadcaster.

For his part, Wilder has been aligned for many years with the promotion firm Premier Boxing Champions, an American firm with links to the Showtime network and the Fox Sports broadcaster.

Fury will fight Tom Schwarz (24-0-0, 16 KOs). His opponent for June 15 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas is.

Schwarz is only 24 years old and this fight is without a doubt the biggest of his career so far. He currently holds the WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight title.

Schwarz doesn’t have any recognisable names on his win record. H’s young and supposed to have some good speed for a big heavyweight boxer.
