Two of the biggest social media stars in the world, Hasbulla Magomedov and Abdu Rozik, have been teasing a potential MMA fight for over a year now.
Both men have dwarfism and are extremely popular online, with over 4 million combined followers on Instagram.
In recent months, the two have been trading insults and challenges on social media, and even had a physical altercation at a press conference in May 2023.
Now, it seems that the fight could finally be happening. Hasbulla’s manager, Batyr Aliyev, recently told Russian media outlet RT Sport that the two sides are in talks to finalise a deal.
“We are in talks with Abdu Rozik’s team and we are close to an agreement,” Aliyev said.
“We are still finalising some details, but we are confident that the fight will happen.” Aliyev added.
Rozik’s manager, Saygid Izagakhmaev, has also confirmed that the two sides are in negotiations.
“We have received an offer from Hasbulla’s team and we are considering it. Abdu is ready to fight Hasbulla at any time.” Izagakhmaev added.
No date or venue has been set for the fight yet, but it is expected to take place in early 2024.
