Winning 2-0 Over Southampton, Liverpool Opened Hopes For The Top 4

Liverpool successfully defeated Southampton in the 2020-2021 Premier League match. Playing at Anfield on Sunday (9/5/2021) early morning WIB, Liverpool won over Southampton with a score of 2-0.

The victory brought Liverpool up one position to sixth with a collection of 57 points. Now, they are getting closer to the top four, who are six points away from Leicester City in fourth.

First round

The match started, Liverpool immediately took the initiative to attack. However, Southampton also did not remain silent by several times threatening the Liverpool defense.

Even so, until the first 10 minutes, Liverpool still controlled the game. Various opportunities were obtained by Liverpool which almost tore the Southampton net.
