Zidane Is Not Bother with Rumors of Mourinho to Madrid

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane said he was not bothered by rumors that said Jose Mourinho would return to deal with Los Blancos.

Madrid’s less convincing performance made rumors of a change of coach quite fast blowing at the beginning of the season.

Until the fourth week, Madrid was ranked fourth in the Spanish League with eight points from two wins and two defeats. While in the Champions League, Karim Benzema and his new friends suffered a 0-3 defeat of Paris Saint-Germain on the first matchday.

Zidane, who returned to handling Madrid as a substitute for Santiago Solari, is considered unable to change the appearance of El Real as when he handled the Spanish giants in 2016 to 2018.

“If I read the media, it is said I will go. I feel strong. I have learned to never give up and keep working until the end,” Zidane said on the issue of changing coaches quoted from the US.

“I am not thinking about leaving. I only think of victory tomorrow [against Sevilla]. You are here to talk and you are doing well. The problem is people who talk outside and we cannot control,” he continued in a press conference ahead of the match Sevilla vs Madrid.

The match against Sevilla was like a test for Zidane. If Madrid can not achieve perfect points, it is quite possible Madrid will end cooperation with the former French national team midfielder.

“I am not bothered to hear Mourinho, that is indeed what is happening. I don’t need to say I read it right now, that’s the situation. Listen, you lost a match and you have to replace everything,” Zidane said.

Previously, Mourinho said he was not interested in returning to Madrid because Zidane had already assumed the position of coach.

“I don’t want to go back [to Madrid] because they have a coach and I can’t handle a team that has a coach. You can talk about respect about the club and about the manager.”
