The chances of Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar coming back to fitness in time to battle the reigning champions Real Madrid on March 7, is now appear really little.
The 26-year-old striker is now a serious injury doubt for the Champions League last-16 second leg against Real Madrid at the Parc des Princes, Paris.
According to his father, Neymar, who will be operated at the end of the week in Brazil, will be absent six to eight weeks. His son suffered a sprained ankle and a broke metatarsal when he was stretchered off in Sunday’s win over Marseille in Ligue 1 match.
Speaking on Saturday, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane told that he was thought about their match in second leg round of 16 Champions League.
“No, we’re used to it all. We just have to think about our match, not the rest, the atmosphere or the referee. Tomorrow, it will be one more match,” Zidane told to media.
“With this group, it’s always the same, always difficult, because everyone wants to beat us. It’s part of my job. Tomorrow I will do the same thing. What more can be said? Nothing.” Zidane added.
PSG will have to override the absence of the Brazilian striker and in this regard, Real boss knows that this absence does not guarantee him anything.
“The problem is always the same: it changes everything and nothing at once. Now, for us, it will not change anything, because there will certainly be a player just as motivated in his place.” Zidane told.
“It’s not going to change much, except perhaps at times, but not at the level of motivation, because Paris is a very competitive team,” former Real star added.

The Los Blancos have a 3-1 lead from the first leg but Real’s central defender, Sergio Ramos, not at all disturbed by the pressure of the PSG on the referee.
“The referee should not be a protagonist. We hope he will make the best decisions. Everyone tries to destabilise as he can.” Ramos told.
“For us, it does not change anything, we will be focused. We respect them, but we also have our weapons to beat them.” the Spaniard added.
Real, of course, believe that they can secure a final place in the Champions League this season. They hope can become the first side to retain the Champions League trophy under the same boss.
