Manchester United has sealed a financial deal with the famous Columbian football player in the person of Radamel Falcao. The “King of the Europa League” was said to have an agreement with “The Red Devils” for a £12million loan from AS Monaco. Although he hasn’t signed about his own personal terms, he is believed to receive a £200,000 weekly paycheck and is already en route to Old Trafford via his private jet.
Two other teams such as Manchester City and Arsenal have also tried to persuade this powerful striker to sign up for their team but unfortunately lost to Man U. Since the 31-year old Dutch striker, Robin van Persie will need to undergo a knee op, Man U is lucky to have Falcao around. The team has lost Javier Hernandez to Real Madrid and will be selling some of its fringe players like Danny Welbeck.
Other reputable teams have also geared up to make sure they have an effective team in the upcoming season. Real Madrid Club de Futbol, also known as Real Madrid, sold Di Maria to Man U for £60m a week ago, has decided to sign Hernandez as a substitute even though he had to struggle in forcing his way into Coach Van Gaal’s hands.
Upon finishing his move, he will team up with Columbia’s national team before heading to an international exhibition game versus Brazil which will be held this Friday in Miami, Florida. This match will be a subsequent battle of these two teams following Columbia’s loss to Brazil in the quarter-finals in this year’s World Cup.
Here’s a shot but quick glimpse into Radamel Falcao’s career as a footballer:
Falcao started playing football at an early age. He is the youngest football debutant in Columbia’s second tier after competing under the team of Lanceros Boyaca in 1999 when he was just 13 years old. He became a member of the River Plate team in 2005 in a £300,000 agreement and spent years in the Argentine Republic prior to his move to Porto in a £3m deal. His hard work and determination really paid off as he was recognized as Europe’s most admired strikers, scoring 72 goals out of his 87 games.
He is an ordinary person playing football extraordinarily. Even with the lavish lifestyle he is exposed to, he challenges himself to exceed his limitations when it comes to skill. It is believed that he even trimmed down his demands to be in motion ahead of the transfer cut-off date. Man U’s low performance in the commencement of the Premier League season was constant until Saturday, wherein the competition was tied 0-0 against Burnley FC.
At his young age, he has already competed with the best players around the globe and is constantly showcasing his inborn talent. For those who don’t know, being a exquisite footballer runs in his veins as his father Radamel Garcia, was a former Columbian defender.Although he just stands 5-foot 10 inches tall, he boasts pace and exceptional techniques when in the field.
