2022 World Cup Logo Launched in Qatar

Recently, Qatar 2022 World Cup logo was introduced to the public on Tuesday (03/09/2019) in Doha, Qatar. The 2022 World Cup logo consists of two colors, namely maroon and white that match the national flag of the Qatar flag. The logo that resembles the number 8 represents 8 stadiums which will be used at the 2022 World Cup and also resembles a World Cup trophy. The logo on the words “Qatar 2022” shows the existence of local Arabic culture.

Qatar will host the 2022 World Cup. Qatar was chosen as the co-host with the 2018 World Cup host election won by Russia on December 2, 2010. Qatar eliminated other candidates, namely the United States, Japan, South Korea and Australia.
