Lenox Lewis Believes Tyson Fury Makes Right Decision after Splitting with Trainer Ben Davidson

Tyson Fury has finally moved on and has broken up from Ben Davidson and has moved on to bigger and better things and has gone with his new trainer SugarHill Steward.

According to history, Steward, formerly known as Javan ‘Sugar’ Hill, is the nephew of the great trainer Manny Steward. Some of the fighters that Steward has trained probably the most famous one is Adonis Stevenson.

Speaking to reports, former heavyweight champion, Lenox Lewis, believes that Fury has made the decision which he thought the best.

“Javan is a great trainer and would be an asset for Tyson Fury. Ben did a great job and I have nothing bad to say about him, he took Tyson from a real low point to exactly where he needed to get to. But you always need a great trainer and SugarHill, as I call him, is a good trainer, I give him very high marks.” Lewis said.

“Every time you see a Kronk fighter, you can expect to see something special, Kronk fighters do things that no other fighters do and I know that for a fact. There are a lot of technical things the Kronk system can help Tyson with and SugarHill has them.” Lewis added.

Fury and WBC champion Deontay Wilder will fight for the second time on February 22, 2020. However, Lewis feels it will have no impact on the rematch.

“He’s trying to talk himself into a win. He’s trying to put it in his head that he beat me ten out of 12 rounds,” Lewis said.

“I’m not the one going around changing trainers, and taking tune-ups. I’ve been fighting the best. I gave one of my toughest opponents a second opportunity.

“I’ve been holding the heavyweight division down when it comes to excitement. Whatever Tyson Fury wants to do with his career and whoever training him, all he’s doing is preparing himself to be added to my career highlight reel.” he added.
