Liverpool is a very attractive proposition for any top player in the world right now with what they are putting together and the project of Jurgen Klopp.
And like all clubs with the highest ambitions, finding the best players is part of their strategy. Like Kylian Mbappe, the reigning Champions League champion wants to land the Frenchman in the summer transfer window.
Speaking to reporters, Liverpool midfielder Fabinho believes Mbappe would give Klopp a headache. But the Brazilian knows personally and former his teammate’s quality so far.
“At this moment it would be a headache for Liverpool if we had him here because our attacking trio is very good,” Fabinho said.
“But I know Mbappe’s quality, he’s already one of the best players in the world, so he would obviously improve any team. Right now he plays for Paris Saint-Germain and we have to respect that.” he added.
Fabinho and Mbappe worked together at As Monaco under Leonardo Jardim before moving on to the Liverpool and PSG respectively.
Mbappe is the most skilled or talented player in the world. His mentality and cool personality set him apart from the rest, he seems like a old man trapped in a young body. In the World Cup his performance was really amazing but what most impressed fans was his attitude under the circumstances.
The 20-year-old has scored 62 times in 91 appearances for PSG in all competitions, including twice in four outings at the start of the 2019-20 campaign.
Mbappe has a contract with the Ligue 1 champions until the summer of 2022, but Liverpool have been credited with an interest in World Cup champion over the last 12 months.
If Liverpool can pay the €300m or maybe €350m with the bonuses, and put that on the table, which is what PSG will ask anyone to sign Mbappe.
